With a background in accounting and years spent inside construction, manufacturing, and eCommerce businesses, Shane learned that clean books alone don’t drive good decisions — accessible, reliable data does. That insight led him to build Hupson Inc. in 2021, combining accounting discipline with automation and analytics.

Today, Shane and his team create systems that connect finance, operations, and data. Their clients use live dashboards, automated reporting, and exception alerts to make faster, smarter decisions — without waiting for month-end.

When he’s not working with clients, Shane enjoys studying how great companies are built, from early-stage founders to the legends of business history. He brings those lessons into every process and story shared on the Hupson blog.
